I wanted to post yesterday, but we were running around, first to the west side of town for family dinner, then to the east side for a friend party - all in a fair amount of snowfall. But what a great way to celebrate the new year surrounded by people we know & love!
The king & I had a fun NYE downtown at one of our favorite restaurants, then spent the night at a hotel. Little man stayed with the in-laws for the night, being treated like the prince he is, of course. I was head to toe JCrew - black ruffled top, hot pink wool herringbone cropped pants, silver mary janes and sparkly cocktail ring (found it in the fall at the b&m about 2 minutes after it debuted for $10!).
We had a leisurely morning, went west to pick up the prince & had a great New Year's Day supper with the family. We then traveled to a friend's new house, watched OSU win the Rose Bowl (Go Bucks!) and caught up with buddies on their holiday news. Got home abound 9:30 & tried to watch The Hangover on pay per view, but we both passed out!
