Happy Martin Luther King Day!

Hello all and I hope you are enjoying your day. I enjoyed a MLK celebration yesterday featuring an insightful lecture, a wonderful high school jazz ensemble, violin and dance presentations. The Prince and I read several books on Martin Luther King, one being the multi award-winning Martin's Big Words, by Doreen Rapapport, cover shown at left. Otherwise, we're taking it rather easy today. In reflecting on this celebration, please know that we have accomplished much in accepting and understanding each other in the 81 years since he was born, but we have much more work to do. Please don't look at it as a burden, but with joy in striving to gain a better knowledge of the human condition.
